Several theories have been developed to explain the mysteriously recurring presence of this man in the dreams of different people who are not related in any way. The following theories are the ones that elicit the greatest interest among the dreamers themselves.

DISABLED BUTTON THEORY
According to this theory, this man is the residue of a single week in January 2021, when a button turned grey for everyone at once. The dream does not invent him; it reconstructs the moment: a calm face, a polite refusal, an action that has been temporarily disabled. ATTENTION FEED THEORY
This theory states that discussion of him increases the frequency of his visits. In the first week he was seen twice; in later weeks, five nights out of seven. The spreadsheet, in this reading, functions less as research than as bait. His one departure from the script, you found the others. good., is understood as the confirmation of a queue.

DOOR RULE THEORY
You can always leave a place. You can never enter one. Any door leading out opens of its own accord; at any door leading in, he is already standing, pleasant and patient. The subject is never in danger. What is withheld is permission.

DAYTIME RECOGNITION THEORY
This theory states that the apparitions of this man are purely casual. Normally we do not remember precisely the faces we see in our dreams.
